Bio: Born to Richard and Brenda Silva. Due to her psychic abilities, she is believed to be the Conduit - a figure in the prophetic texts of the Zelishemite tradition, supposedly destined to bridge the gap between the material and spiritual worlds.

Bio: Born to a wealthy family, he became an alternative health practicioner in his mid-20s.  He has been interested in astral travel and psychic phenomena since his childhood.

 

Alina Leonidovna Galenko

 

DOB: 08/12/1987

First Appearance: Prologue

Bio: Born into the Zelishemite tradition, she demonstrated a natural ability for communicating with beings in other dimensions and became a priestess at the age of thirteen. Richard Silva enlisted her assistance in handling the difficulties Meredith faces with her abilities.

 

 

Brian Michael Frederick

Bio: A follower of Richard Silva's version of the Zelishemite tradition with a somewhat flippant personality.  He is a talented linguist and has worked as an English instructor for foreign students.

 

Brenda Lynn Silva (née Rhodes)

 

DOB: 06/29/1964

First Appearance: Book One - Chapter 1

Bio: Richard Silva's wife and Meredith Silva's mother.  She became ill with inexplicable neurological issues a few years after Meredith was born, and her symptoms appear to worsen in Meredith's presence.

 

Devendra ("David") Abernathy

 

DOB: 02/02/1978

First Appearance: Book One - Chapter 1

Bio: A chemist who became a firm believer in psychic phenomena after meeting Richard Silva and his daughter. He helped Richard Silva identify the presence of abnormal DNA in Meredith and has traveled throughout the United States to spread the word of Meredith's status as the Conduit.

 

 

Lucinda ("Lucy") Pembroke Markman

DOB: 06/02/1995

First Appearance: Book One: Chapter 3

Bio: A lapsed member of Silva's flock, and the only daughter of one of his colleagues.  She continues to associate with David Abernathy for personal gain. She studies programming at the University of Pennsylvania.

 

Tabitha Carmela Morgenstern

DOB: 12/27/1975

First Appearance: Book One: Chapter 4

Bio:  A child psychologist who is recognized as an expert in both intellectual giftedness and neurological disability. Richard Silva seeks her assistance in founding a school for "twice exceptional" youth.

Bio: An impulsive, eccentric massage therapist employed by an upscale hotel.
